The Essl Foundation’s Zero Project Zero Project and Ashoka Impact Transfer join forces to scale the most innovative disability solutions for a barrier-free world.
The Zero Project, an initiative of the Essl Foundation, focuses on the rights of persons with disabilities globally. It provides a platform where the most innovative and effective solutions to problems that persons with disabilities face, are shared. The Zero Project builds on a growing network of over 3,000 organizations and disability experts in over 160 countries. They identify the most innovative and effective policies and practices that improve the lives of persons with disabilities.
At the annual Zero Project Conference at the Headquarters of the United Nations in Vienna, the best innovators present their solutions to the disability community, foundations and funders, government officials and other key international influencers. The Zero Project Conference is the global forum for good ideas to spread.
Zero Project and Ashoka Impact Transfer join forces to scale the most innovative disability solutions for a barrier-free world. Impact Transfer designs and implements a transfer program for innovative solutions that applied to the Zero Project Conference. In close collaboration with the Zero Project Team and key stakeholders the transfer program is currently being implemented.
“It’s high time for a systematic matchmaking between the most outstanding innovators and Zero Project partners who take them internationally” Martin Essl, Founder and President of the Essl Foundation
