Tufts University in Boston uses open source FPGA tools
Open source FPGa tools find their way into undergraduate curriculum
(03.06.2021)
Förderjahr 2018 / Project Call #13 / ProjektID: 3084 / Projekt: Digitale Bausteine programmieren
Prof. Steven Bell is using open source tools developed during the CroG project in his electrical engineering course EE300.
Due to the Covid pandemic, many courses had to switch to remote teaching. Prof Steven Bell is teaching digital design to his students by Video.
But as his course is about electronics, students need to build an electronic device. All his students did get a very cheap open source FPGA board which are programmed with the open source tools developed in the last 5 year with support from Netidee.
